I'm personally not a fan of vault toilets, but that was the only drawback I found.
The campground has 5 sites, available on a first come, first served basis. Pack it in, pack it out. There are no garbage cans, but that's no reason for careless campers to trash the place out. We went in the "off season" and were the only ones there. Site 1 had quite a few King Kong sized mosquitoes, so we moved from site 1 to site 2 and there were next to none. It was time for bear hibernation to end, and to stop them from coming around and ruining it for future campers, we did a sandwich for dinner and didn't light any fire. The ramp is just a grass/gravel mix and ends in the water with no dock. The lake is shallow and the water is clear enough that you can see underwater obstructions from a good distance just standing on the shore.
If you're a morel mushroom hunter, they're abundant in the area on the surrounding hills in the woods!
