Fantastic campground. 2 of us rode bikes up here from CDA Idaho for an overnight camping trip. Great communication, super polite and friendly. Campsites are mostly on the lake with a short walk and rock shore scramble. Lake water was amazing, clean and quiet. Sitting by the fire with a nice steak dinner was very relaxing and quiet. Lots of stars on a clear night and a great mountain sunset. Don't forget to bring water. There is no potable water on site, and the sites are FCFS. The road to the lake is also a very nice motorcycle ride. We will be back.
Just don't drop firewood on your foot like my Buddy did.
