This is a magnificent lookout spot, formerly used by the US Forest Service as a fire lookout, now available for anyone to rent! Views are magnificent in every direction. This is an amazing place to escape the city. Our visit today was just a few hours but we intend to return for a longer visit. Please be advised that you need a DURABLE vehicle with all wheel drive and HIGH GROUND CLEARANCE to make it up here. The roads are decent but VERY rocky, sometimes steep, with VERY sharp drop offs. This trip is not for the faint of heart but 100% WORTH IT!!!
