Really liked the RV park. Nice hookups. Very stable power and no voltage sags. Excellent water pressure, bring your pressure regulators. Tent campers beware, sites are very nice, however not nearly enough restrooms and showers for the number of “unserviced” campers they host. I counted two facilities. There is a small restroom pair at the main office. On the men’s side was two sinks, one urinal, one toilet and two showers. The shower house in the middle of the RV park, on the men’s side had 4 sinks, two toilets, three urinals and 4 showers. The number of facilities is woefully inadequate relative to the number of campers they host which are not self contained in RVs. Facilities are cleaned by Silverwood staff early in the morning, and they do a good job. However it feels like they are only serviced once a day. By the afternoon, paper towel chibbles and cast off TP is all over the floor along with normal dirt and grime. Both facilities have been remodeled or refreshed and appear modern.
The RV park has a volleyball pit, a really nice kids play structure. There is a central path that goes past the mid park shower house and onto the entry to the amusement park.
Sites are mostly level and are covered in mostly gray rock/gravel. You have a fire pit and picnic table at each campsite. Lots of space. Most of the trees are pretty young and don’t provide a lot of shade, however they are growing and in a few years there will be a lot more shade than there is now.
There is a mix of pull thru and back in sites. We had site 91 and found it spacious and the arc of the pull thru was just right for a longer rig. Utilities were placed about amidships, so you weren’t having to run 50ft of sewer hose.
While we were there we noticed that a number of street lights along roadways and paths were out. Possibly just an oversight.
All the staff we interacted with at the RV park we’re super nice and accommodating.
We will be back. The attraction to camping here is the Silverwood theme park and how convenient it is to camp right across the highway from the park.
