The campground seems fairly new, has a lot of new cabins and permanent campers. The pond and swim
Area is very nice. Weekenders are put down in the lower portion. We stayed on a Mon-Wednesday and We were the only ones in entire lower portion at the furthest point, closest to the River. BEWARE The biggest FYI is there is a train track about 100 feet the sites. The track is an active line. The trains run 2x per hour but seemed to stop between 9pm- 2am then they are back at it. Not only do the run loud but they blow the horn as they pass everytime all hours of the day & night. I actually called hotels
For availability. Overall the campground itself is Nice .. but the train was definitely a negative for us.
