Beautiful park! My son and I visited Watson Mill Bridge State Park in December 2023. We walked a few trails, which took a few hours. It was about a 30-minute drive from Athens.
They have a Visitors Center where you can pick up a map of the park and hiking trails. It also has a cute gift shop. Parking is $5.00 for the day. They do offer yearly parking passes as well.
I recommend Watson Mill State Park for something fun and interesting to do on a budget. I can't wait to visit Watson Mill Bridge Park this summer!
