Quiet place with some awesome views and hikes.
We stay at a lot of Mississippi State Parks, and we really like this one.
There are pros and cons of course.
There are lots of great views. We loved the lake side hike. It was awesome. There are more hikes and trails that we did not explore.
They have disc golf, which is a plus for me. Boat ramps.
The cabins are nice.
The cabin we were in was spacious. The beds were comfortable. Our cabin was a little different than the others. Some cabins have screened in patios. Looking back we should have taken one of those.
Our particular cabin had some minor issues, which are totally easy to fix. No dressers for clothes. No side tables for the couch. No hangers. And the refrigerator light was out. The towels we not the big bath towels, but at least they HAD towels. lol.
But other than those issues, it was a really nice and clean cabin. The shower was AWESOME!
This park was not as run down as much as some other state parks are.
We enjoyed our stay and may come back.
