The campground entrance is several hundred ft past the park entrance. Down a gravel road a quarter mile to a paved road to the right.
61 sites some back-ins some pull throughs all well spaced shared water spigots. 10, 30, 50 amp at each site.
I read on a previous review that there were only two restrooms, there are 6. Three on the front of the building and three on the rear. These are all family style, shower, vanity, commode all with ample room. The three in the front were open though the one on the right did not have a sign on the door.
Of the three on the back the two to the left were open but the one to the left marked handicap was locked. I don't know why because I could tell it was a dead bolt located much higher than handicap would allow. As such I assume it was out of order.
Our site was a pull through between the shower house and the playground personally more interested in the shower house than the playground. The playground had the usual swings, a thing to climb in and slide down and a tunnel to crawl through.
The grass is well tended and there are well tended grass walking paths of decent width that wander through the tall native grasses.
Thought we would have the park to ourselves being mid-week first week in Oct. Close there were six already parked and one more arrived after we setup.
We pass through Iowa often and get tired of the same ole roads and enjoy different corn and soybean fields. This campground is a jewel 💎.
