This is great for a free campground. The campsites are nice and spaced far enough apart that we didn't feel on top of one another. Only one restroom is open at this time, and there is no potable water in the campground at this time. But flush toilets at a free campsite are a big bonus! Bring your own toilet paper and soap though. The old town loop historic site was closed (possibly due to a storm?) But we enjoyed the short hike to the church. Again, for a free campsite, it's great. We did drive by the other 2 free campsites further north on the Natchez Trace and they were definitely nicer and further off the road, but I have no complaints about Rocky Springs and would stay again.
