Full disclosure, I've never camped before this last weekend so I have no basis for comparison. Having said that, the setting for this campground is gorgeous. The grounds are immaculate, as is the bathroom facility (Pro-tip:take a roll of toilet paper with you, it goes faster than they can keep up with.)

I'm not sure what Bigfoot has to do with camping, and while it's not a complaint, I wonder if they would be better served by downplaying the mythical beast angle and playing up the incredible location and surroundings instead.

We stayed at the campground because of its proximity to the Pelham Caverns concert facility. Due to a last minute cancellation by the artist, I never even saw the caves, but I wasn't too upset since I got in a nice, vigorous hike around the area to see a creek, waterfall and a spectacular view of a gorge and valley. Had the humidity been less oppressive, we would have been game for the zip lines, but weather dictated time in the shade catching up on our reading.

It's clear this is a popular destination for RV and trailer owners, the spaces were almost all full. The sense of community among RV owners was obvious and respectful. I was really intrigued by The Farmhouse and would love to book a stay there having spent a weekend on the property. As a first-timer, I walked away very impressed and would absolutely return for another visit.
