It was a beautiful and well maintained camp ground with one major flaw - it is near a shooting range and on a Saturday night in September we heard constant shooting well into the night, till at least 10pm making it hard for our little ones to fall asleep and really detracting from the beauty of the place.

If that doesn't bother you, it was a lovely place with lovely camp sites including many with a short walk away from parking for a more natural setting, well maintained hiking trails, clean bathrooms with composting toilets, and a water spicket with drinkable well water at the entrance to the campground. Also note that the oak trees were beautiful though one of the kids did get hit in the head with an acorn falling from a tree, they were ok but it did hurt quite a bit!
