I just spent two nights at this KOA and would not recommend this location to anyone who needs RV accommodations in this part of the country.
The RV sites are very overpriced for what is offered. The water has a strong iron/metal odor and comes out cloudy. There is a sewer odor near certain sites. I used the laundry facility to wash a load of towels. Washers and dryers were dirty. I had to remove a sanitary pad that had been left behind from the washer I was about to load. I could not adjust the toggle switch to the hot water cycle because the selector switch had been removed on all three machines only allowing for the cold water wash. I texted the phone number given at check in. The on duty employee arrived and went into the maintenance room and brought out a selector switch allowing the machine to fill with hot water. Why would a campground owner not allow access to hot water after the guest paid the $2.00 to use the machine?? In my opinion this KOA is more interested in money making than providing a positive experience for their guests.
