The Good: This is a very nice campground. Modern hookups and nice level concrete sites. For a beachfront campground, the sites are spacious enough. The real highlight for us was the beach. We biked for 8 miles on the beach and did not see a single person. It’s amazing. The camp host, Brian is a real asset to the campground and the owners. Polite, friendly and informative. This is a remote location. That’s good and bad. You must travel for any type of store or restaurant. But the lack of crowds and the desolate beach made it worthwhile.

The bad: While not controllable by the owners, the mosquito problem here is tremendous. They are ferocious and WILL find their way into your camper, even with everything tight and closed up. I spent all night keeping up with them. Everyone complains about it. This campground calls itself a resort, but they have no accommodation for trash. You must drive more than 1 mile to drop your trash. Hope you have a vehicle to do so. The owners will say it’s your trash you get rid of it. I guess they have never been to other campgrounds. This was a first for me after staying at 100’s of campgrounds.
