Only stayed one night, passing through. Nice little park. My overall opinion is favorable. As the park is in a really lovely spot. To be constructive if the management reads this:
- the trash dumpster is really too far away from the sites. Need something in the loop, too (apologies if I missed it)
- full hookups mean the bathhouse probably doesn’t get a lot of use, but there is only a single commode in the men’s side and the door to the stall is pretty beat up
- we didn’t buy any firewood, but I read that is was a dollar per piece? If that’s true, is pretty off-putting
- would be nice if there were a couple of views of the river cleared so you can actually see it from the camping loop
- the dock is… interesting
That was all meant in the spirit of being helpful. Would not hesitate to stay here again.
