I booked a weekend here after all state parks were full and we had to come to the area for a lacrosse tournament. The negatives: sites are a little closer together than I usually prefer and you can hear traffic at the tent sites from the nearby highway. Normally I'd dock a star for those issues but I just can't with this campground because the positives were overwhelming.
Campground is beautiful. 2 dog pals so it's very pet friendly. And if you have kids.... miniature golf, giant trampoline pillow thing, hiking trails, arcade, games... playgrounds. You name it, it's a kid paradise. That said, kids aren't running wild. And the bathrooms were SO clean! Plus the staff was so helpful and friendly. Honestly I loved it and am searching my calendar to find a free weekend so I can return.
