We stayed here on a pavilion site. The sites are way to close together. Our campfire was about 12 feet from their picnic table. and the fire was pointed in their direction. all the fires are in weird spots and people are all pointing their chairs towards each other instead of seeing the woods. Also our site was right near a road. Like 15 feet of woods and then road. It was really lame there were no real woods around the site. the bathhouse was okay, could be cleaner. Your can arrange for them to deliver ice and firewood to your site. We used the e-bikes which we had a blast on. I really recommend. we had them for 4 hours, we went down the road that has trails and got to see school house arch. the next day we went hiking on those trails. I recommend packing lunch and having a nice picnic. The dog slaughter falls were incredible. one of the prettiest places I’ve ever been. the hike was a bit rough at times, I would not take small children there. but we had the falls all to ourselves for a while on a slightly wet weekend day. we went tubing also. That was disappointing. The river is in town so there is the sound of the highway next to the river, there was a lot of debris like old tires on the bank. And the water was slow and a bit boring for most of it. we stayed pretty dry and we’re fully clothes as it wasn’t a hot day. But I’m sure on a hot day you could get more wet. also Cumberland falls was amazing and close by. All in all they offer alot of different experiences and have alot of options for lodging. I’d try a primitive site in the woods if you don’t like to stair and other people and their tents for your trip.
