I gave it a 4 star because it is a really beautiful area and totally worth using, but some of the facilities look like they could use some updating.

It is a beautiful wooded campground. It has a lot of bunkhouses, an onsite bathroom with showers, and a kitchen facility(common area). The bunkhouses have no air conditioning, but they do have screens on the windows to let the air in and are shaded, so it isn't usually too hot. The bunkhouses are also a little on the old side but still very functional.

There is a one lane dirt road that leads into the camp area, but there is lots of parking once you reach the camp.

There is no cell reception in the campground area, but there is a landland for emergency purposes (currently under repair, but should be functional soon). If cell service is something you cant live without, then this isn't the camp area for you.

Reservations are required. The fees vary depending on what facilities you want to rent.
