Great place for hiking! Most of the trails are shaded. The trails give you great views of the lake and the trees. The falls branch waterfalls, unfortunately was not running at the time I went, which was mid October. If you wish to see the waterfall flowing, you will have to do research of what season the falls flow. We also saw deer on our hike too. Bring some food so you can hang out at the picnic tables near the parking area. Plenty of parking.
