I will never again reserve a site without viewing it. I called and Danny said he would put us on site 10, which was a grassier site, it sounded perfect. When we arrived, he had put us on 13…. It was rocky, not good for tent camping… there was no way we were going to drive stakes into the ground there. We had two small kids with us and the site had a 2-3ft drop off with a retaining wall… thankfully we brought string lights to line the drop off so that no one would miss the ledge when it was dark. I addition, when we arrived, there was car window glass busted and all on the ground… quite unsafe. Danny came by to clean it up, but only dumped the glass in the ditch on the other side of the campsite. That glass it only going to get washed away to everywhere else during a rain storm. And he didn’t clean up all of the glass. We were constantly having to pickup glass on our little walking mat to avoid anyone getting cut or shards going into the tent. The water spigot was in the ground, which I was warned about, but I also swear that Danny told me we could borrow a hose if needed, but he never offered again. They had a spigot and hose on the back of the bathhouse, which wasn’t too far of a walk away, so we made do. He charged us $20 for the site, but online it clearly state that tent sites are $15. The bathrooms were okay, nothing special. I never saw the golf course or pool that they speak of.
