We started out on the Slate trail and tested our longevity on the Go John but decided not to go too far, perhaps another day. The trails are well marked, very debris free and clearly far from any trees, saguaro or other plants which is safer. We like this park, nice camping spaces and the visitor center very nicely maintained, very friendly Staff!! Restrooms are close to the trailheads and one at the visitor center. Picnic tables throughout the park and benches are at different locations on trails to sit and enjoy the view!!
