Holcomb Valley Ranch is our favorite campground in the Big Bear area. While some may balk at the idea of paying premium prices for primitive campsites, what they fail to appreciate is the awesome amount of space you have. Each campsite is HUGE. You aren’t right on top of your neighbors, which makes for a very relaxing and enjoyable time at an established campground. There are plenty of porta-potties a short walk, as well as regular bathrooms and HOT showers! The facilities are very clean and well kept. There are also water spigots around the property where you can top off safely. The campground host is friendly, knowledgeable and takes his job seriously. We always feel like our gear is safe and secure here when out exploring. Top all that off with absolutely gorgeous views and you have a winning combo.
