Wonderful escape for a few weeks in our RV. The staff is amazing and super friendly. (Shoutout to Bill for helping us choose our spot!) The only downside is that only a handful of sites have full hookups (sewer) and only a few 50amp spots.
Otherwise a lovely place to stay and disconnect. Hikes are gorgeous. Views all around 360°. Wildlife sightings! The lodge is awesome with activities, billiards 🎱 , ping pong 🏓 and books 📚. Also, the fur babies loved the dog park.
One tip - bring bug spray! Flies are circling your face at all times outdoors, but that's just everywhere in Idyllwild.
Also, don't take your dogs walking at night. There are many predators in the area. (Take it from my experience. I lost my cat to a coyote in a similar campground 🐺)
