This small hidden campground some distance off the main highway is best for vans, mini campers and tents. Quiet; especially mid-week. There is a short spur trail from the campground to the Marion Mountain trail (no bikes). There is a nice viewpoint about 1 mile up this steep trail. The trail connects to the PCT, Deer Springs trail and the San Jacinto summit trail.
