Amazing place to see with streams and various elevations. The trail starts out wide and groomed. Then you have to cross the small river on logs, so bring water proof shoes in case you slip and bring water, it gets hot. The Mash site is small, but there are signs and some cool old trucks and a picnic area... Really scenic all along the path. We did the whole thing to the backside of Malibu lake dam and a couple of stops, photos, lunch, in about 6 hours. But it can be done in about 2.5 hours if you walk briskly and don't stop a lot. Worth the journey.
