Not too far from Santa Barbara and clean sites. They only have porta potties because the bathrooms are under construction. There's a tunnel to the creek which made for a good mini pre bed time hike. We got an unexpected viewing to some drama at the site so we didn't get to buy firewood but felt safe knowing they first responders can come quickly.
