We booked a spot for Thanksgiving week. As we are very new to the RV camping world and Tim’s Ford was our choice. The grounds are somewhat in need of a few repairs. The dump station does not have adequate draining and you must use a rock to hold the door closed. The showers are clean and private with great water pressure and hot water. The main restrooms are not heated and super cold in the winter. The bathrooms were somewhat clean, but commode’s need attention and the toilet paper is like using nose tissues. The hand dryers do not stay on but 2 seconds and they will not turn back on. All of the spots in the Fairview Campground have this fine ground of gravel, which gets in the RV and it’s nearly impossible to keep out. The noise curfew was not enforced and the gates were not locked, so basic security was not there. We would prefer safety and not open doors. The price is expensive for all of the inconveniences. Park Ranger not available for an issue we had with our camper, the hosts were so nice and so helpful.
