A hidden gem of a campground! My husband and I stayed there for a few days enjoying the fact that it hugs Barkley

Lake in Kentucky. There are some spots that are directly on the water, but we

choose a spot a bit further back (21)

that had more room for us and our two dogs. We still could walk a few feet to see

the lake better through the trees. There is a small beach area, boat ramp, dumping station too. We drove around the corner one evening to see an amazing sunset right off the water.

Patti’s restaurant, Dollar General’s, and Elk and Bison prairie, are a fun place to travel in the area.

The hosts are amazingly helpful and friendly! They will come by a couple of times a day to check on things and see if anything is needed. Some of the spots are a bit difficult to back into due if you have a larger camper, mostly from the angles and trees. People just took their time backing up and was cautious. The spots are blacktop and gravel with a fire pit, very large heavy duty picnic table, along with a smaller table for cooking. Extremely clean area and well taken care of! We plan on coming back in the Spring to enjoy this beauty again!
