Kinda a hidden gem of a campground and lake. Boujie campsites– Nice sites, flush toilets, and showers. Lake is big, generally clean (some algae, check warnings), and free to kayak in. Some bugs and a bit pricey of a site, but generally worth it. Not too busy, booked 24 hours in advanced on a Tuesday in July.
Tips:
- You can use your camping parking pass to park around the lake even on your arrival and departure days.
- Bring quarters for the shower
- You can access the lake from the campground (site 12, it's a bit steep)
- The beach in "Willow's Cove" is the best one (hike/kayak in)
