Me and boyfriend have car camped in different places around Kentucky and Tennessee. This is BY FAR our favorite campground. There is a dedicated tent camping area far from the RVs. The campsites are placed pretty far from one another, giving you lots of privacy and the feeling of actually camping in the woods. The bathrooms are very clean. There are water spickets and bear bins. It’s very dark, which is a plus for seeing the stars. We have also used the campsite as a base for doing one night of backpacking from one of the trails that connects to the campsite.
BSF is very beautiful, lots of great trails.
