Stony Creek Campground is a wonderful option for campers that need to plan ahead and reserve a campsite. We stayed at site #36 and were very impressed with it's size and orientation to the rest of the campground. It was large enough to set up two tents and the site backed up to a wooded area with no sites which made it feel like one of the more secluded sites in the campground. The bathrooms were clean and the water supply was nearby. Campfire wood is for sale on the campsite and the camp hosts were very helpful, welcoming, and friendly!!
One night a doe and a couple of her fawns wandered through our campground. They were closely followed by a large buck. We will certainly be staying here again if we find ourselves in the area!
