Unit was rented to us dirty, the carpets made our socks black on the first day. I went in to amend the move in inspection due to this and the manager would not sign. I called the Regional Ana and let her know of the situation. She said she would review and get back to me and never did. Now upon move out, my mother was in the process of passing and had to be transported, they want to charge for the few days that it took for the company to come get the medical equipment, charging me for cleaning although I provided a receipt for 4 hours of cleaning (AGAIN the unit was filthy when we moved in) wants to charge $100 for a pet because she said they found cat litter and a bottle of dog Shampoo (we brought my moms dog over one day and gave her a bath) Not one care that my mother passed within less than a week of us leaving the unit. Not one care that sewage kept backing up into the unit 5 times in one week and continued to weekly after. I am in the business myself and am completely appalled at how little they care when you are in the unit but want to nickel and dime when you move out under very hard circumstances. Not to mention my mother had her own unit there for over 20 years. Also no Manager on-site just a Regional that comes for a couple hours a couple times a week. I would have given no stars if it would have let me.
