Nice place to camp for the night, we backpacked in from Tuolumne Meadows and stayed at Sunrise our fist night, very nice views of the meadow. One big issue was the mosquitoes because there are a ton. One of the others in my group got 35 bites with repellent and I got a lot too. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. Otherwise, its a great campgroud with a toilet and plenty of streams to purify water from. Also there are bear boxes at the campground too. It could be hard to find so when hiking the JMT you must look right if coming from Tuolumne or left if from the valley floor. Great place to camp. Recommended.
