This man-made lake is closed for half the year and the long drive from the city deters many from coming but because of that, the rainbow trout here get large. The meat in the trout here are a nice pinkish color you could’ve sworn it was salmon. The ones caught in the streams generally won’t have that color and have a different flavor.
