In honor of a loved one who passed away we had his services at this location in the Tanager area. We had a large BBQ before the service allowing for people to make it ontime and to enjoy a great meal with fellowship, as the loved one would want.
The area was clean, there was a volleyball area, and a brief walk to the shore line for easy access to the lake and plenty of picnic table seating.
This was a half day event and was a wonderful way to say goodbye.
I have been to Shaver Lake before, and there are many areas around the lake that will be amazing to see.
This lake is a must visit.
