March 22, 2022. The park is open. It would be best to have a 4WD regardless of what direction you enter. In my opinion, forget about taking an RV. We entered from the east, very bumpy, a little mud, and several stream crossings. The creek has a nice solid rock bottom. Leaving the park and continuing west, no cell signal. Lots of mud and soft shoulders in places. The last 4 miles are on finished dirt roads. The park is gorgeous.
