Lovely place! I very much enjoyed my stay here. Checking in was easy, but I noticed that there can be a line at times. The showers (I was in the lower campground) are challenging. They have been vandalized, and don't have nearly enough hooks. It's very hard to keep your things dry while taking a shower, so I suggest bringing a garbage bag to put everything in until after your shower. Include an extra towel to put on the ground to stand on after showering, due to the dirt on the floor of the shower, which turns to mud.
There is a shower for the disabled, with a bench that will lift up. It does have a lower shower head that sadly is mostly broken. There is a ramp to the showers/bathrooms on one side, But I suspect that this would be a very challenging place to be in a wheelchair. The sand and fine sandy dirt are everywhere.
The machine that dispenses tokens for the shower does not accept quarters, but does accept all denominations of dollar bills. The bills do need to be in very good condition. You get 5 min. per token.
