I love hiking here where volcanoes once spewed! There is an visitor center next to the parking lot that has some interesting facts about the history of the volcanic activity. There are samples of different kinds of rocks that were formed by the volcano that you can actually touch. Besides hiking, you can also ride bikes on the wider trails.

The hours are 7 AM-10 PM. This park is across the bay from San Francisco and east of Oakland in the hills. The park is 928 acres.

If I want a quiet walk, I like going around sunrise or sunset--when it is the most quiet. If you want to camp there, look online. You can bring your pooch, but they need to be on leash.

I love taking pictures at Sibley!!!
