A beautiful campground just remote enough to make you feel like you’re away from it all, but close enough to the city to give some spectacular views. The hike to camp starts with a 1.5 mile constant uphill climb, so be ready for some good exercise. The campground is located in a clump of trees in an otherwise brush covered hillside, the trees provide some cover but they also cause some condensation and rain if it gets foggy, so bring rain protection even if it’s not forecasted. Waking up in a cloudy mist was a real treat! The portajohn was surprisingly clean, overall would go back for another night!
