All My Wedding Dreams I Never Knew I Had, Came True

First we booked a hilltop restaurant/venue that would have allowed us only 1 hour of setup time. Then we cancelled and decided to do a courthouse wedding, but the date we wanted was not available.

After talking about possibly putting our wedding plans on hold, I got on the internet one day and just started entering everything I could think of into Google. After looking at a few rental properties, I came across Moonlight Ranch.

Once we made initial contact with Cam and Tallie, my wife and I could not stop talking about how perfect the ranch would be. We knew we wanted to keep our wedding intimate, and although we didn't really have a color scheme or theme in mind, the setting and ambiance provided by the ranch was perfect for everything we bought along the way.

When we first met with Cam and Tallie, their vision for the venue was still in the works, and the site under construction; none of that mattered however, because we were able to see what they described to us and with all of their hard work, the ranch was transformed into a magical setting that was even better than what we had pictured. There is plenty of room for car parking and there is even a side entry for vendor deliveries!

And then, there was the Hacienda....

The home is beautiful. It is peaceful, inviting and relaxing. Our friends took over the kitchen and made a dinner for 14 of us, the night before the wedding, just after we did a quick run through of our ceremony. There are plenty of accommodations for a wedding party or anyone who might be helping you with your event. Each of the couples who helped us had their own rooms to stay in, and some of us had a slumber party in the living room. You can see all of the time and thought that was put into decorating the Hacienda and when you go out onto the rear patio or down to the pool, you get an amazing view of the hillside.

The Country Cottage is really adorable and is right next to the petting zoo, which is worth visiting, even if you have allergies (take your Claritin so you don't miss out!). Some of our family members stayed in the cottage, and on our wedding day, it served as a staging area for our wedding party, and our caterer was able to use the kitchen for some food preparation and cake cutting.

The Ceremony area: you guys, you aren't going to get this anyplace else! You can completely customize your set up at Moonlight Ranch. Depending on the size of your party, Tallie and Cam will be able to give you some great suggestions on set up as well, but when you visit the ranch and see how much space you have to work with, you're going to be excitedddddd :) Even if you have your own backdrop in mind, or you think you might be set on a certain view, etc., once you see the ceremony space, you will want to just go with what Cam and Tallie created; its THAT perfect! I still cannot believe how perfect and special all of their planning and hard work made our wedding day.

Guess. What. Else!?!!??

You get to stay at your wedding venue! Did I mention how much stress there wasn't on our wedding day? Because being able to stay there for a couple days before and after our wedding day made life so much easier. We were able to hang out and relax with everyone who helped us, and on wedding day, we woke up, walked down the hill, and took care of last minute set up details; came back up to The Hacienda, had a drink, got ready, forgot time existed and showed up to our ceremony when we were ready. Zero time constraints.

Everything was exactly what it was meant to be for our wedding day with Tallie and Cam's help and we will be forever grateful for them and that our first two plans fell through. From The Hacienda, to The Petting Zoo, to the altar and the meaning behind the bridge (you will have to get married here to find out); everything the ranch offered for our wedding became everything I didn't know I could fall in love with. I didn't know I had a dream wedding in mind, until I was married at Moonlight Ranch.
