Beautiful! Remote! VERY Intense hike!! Poison oak everywhere!!! ☠️ Watch out for rattle snakes too! Plenty of Mosquitoes 🦟🦟 Don’t get stranded out here unprepared there’s no reception. Carrying a satellite beacon is a good idea just incase…if I remember correctly 3.8 miles down hill and 2800ft elevation difference from the trailhead to the river. Carry lots of water(camelbak ideally) there’s only one tiny little creek to fill up from on the way down. Not sure about this but it seems that it may dry out during a dry season A nice wooded “base camp” by the river. Another 2.7 miles upstream from there A beautiful waterfall with a nice pool and cliffs to jump off. You’ll have to work for it though! Everyone I ever took here said it’s the most intense hike they’ve ever been on. My friend Mike says “It’s not a hike! It’s an adventure!”
