It was a nice, simple campground. Small walk downhill from campsite to water access. I believe each campsite has a trail from their own campsite to the water so everyone has a private entrance. The road is pretty close so you can hear cars, but there is hardly any traffic at night.
The water was refreshingly cool when paired with 90 degree weather. Strong currents at certain points so children should be supervised. It is rocky so it is nice to lay out on a big rock, but can be hard to walk on and slippery at times from algae at entry point.
BBQ pit, food locker and scratchy picnic table provided at campsite. No showers. Two water spigots. Dogs are allowed but on leash. We went on a Monday so the portapotty had been recently serviced and was clean. I did not use the other built in outhouse as flies were in company.
