With the new reserve system at the main park, this was a super great place to camp. It's 12 miles off the main road and about 1hr away from the entrance to the park. Cons.... the road is meant for off road vehicle's. 6 miles are dirt roads and the last 3 miles are unforgiving. Also it's vault toilets so plan accordingly. Pros..... super quiet and secluded even from the other camp sites. Nice access to the river and 2 nice hike trails. Overall great place to relax if you need to wait on your reservation or just camp altogether.
