The place seemed like a good place to spend the weekend, after all the reviews I read. The camp ground must be under new management. The camp host meet us at camp right when we showed up and not in a good way. Very pushy and told us she just wanted to get the paperwork done. Not a warm greeting at all. We never received a copy of camp information like most places give you. The next morning the kids went to the play area. We were approached by the host again tell us the kids were too loud. We told the kids to quit down respectful. We had another visit from the host blaming out kids for dislodging a log from the horseshoe pit. We went over and assessed the damage and noticed it wasn't even attached with screws or anything. So we fixed it and that's was the end of that.well not quite.. again was told there was some dirt or sand on the slide that the kids out there and she made several rude comments to us and our children. Later that night we were having marshmallow around the fire and talking amongst us. And Gary the manager came to our site and was told there was a noise complaint . He said himself he didn't see a problem and left. We were asked to leave the next day. We left and went to the camp ground across the street called American Eagle Rv Park. This place was great Chuck greeted us and gave a copy of the rules and told us all about the park. It has full bathrooms, laundromat, kids rec center, full hook ups. And the spots were clean and shaded. Don't waist your time with Eagle Lake Resort the best place to camp is literally across the street. Happy Campers!
