There are two important features which are not obvious in the other reviews. First is the USFS has built a permanent vault toilet with two stalls here within the last year. A great improvement over the former portapottys. Second, this campground is not only for equestrians only. RV's and tent campers are welcome. The views here are stunning especially around dusk and dawn. We visited in middle May 2023 and we were the only ones there. The drinking water was also on which is not a given in the early season. Currently $10 off season and $17 high season. Well defined
