This has become one of my favorite places to hike in the area that it is located. It is a fairly easy trail into Alaska basin but is about 8 miles one way. From there there are many other trails you can Branch out on with amazing views just about everywhere you go. If you are not from the area be aware that there are bears and food handling precautions should be taken. also please respect the trail, and pack out your garbage.
