I'm assuming the accommodations are as cool as the rest of the place.
We were leaf-peeping, drove up from Poudre Canyon, and decided to take the 'long' way home. So, rather than fighting parking in Laramie for something to eat, we stopped in here.
And you know what? We had a good lunch! Mom enjoyed her mushroom burger, and I wasn't quite as starving, but the nachos were decent, well-seasoned, and piled high with the goodies.
Special thanks to the friendly local (the bartender/server) who was doing a decent job of keeping everyone fed and happy. She also gave me some insight into the history of the area, that I didn't know before.
We're happy to add this place to our list of 'hey, let's go have lunch in the mountains' list. We'll be back.
