Three stars is a generous rating of this park, especially if your plans are to camp. The campground is smooshed together, one space on top of the other. There's a stretch of grass nearby that can have tents plopped on it but there are no other amenities for anyone; unless a single cold water sink and two toilets count.

I was told normal rates are $20/night but that sounds high. For Eclipse week it was $60/night and that's way excessive.

Access to the North Platte River is pretty much a disaster with a rutted "road" ending at a pile of dumped broken concrete. It's dangerous to walk through since each piece can be unstable and it all has a lot of trapped plastic in suspicious mud. I'm not a wimp but my dog joined me in being unwilling to pick her way through that.

I imagine the only time the place is used for camping is county fairs and eclipses. Otherwise get on your detailed mapping information and find something better.
