I am surprised that I didn't review this KOA yet. While KOA's have been hit or miss this one is pretty well taken care of and is quite popular. Book a little early if you can. I know the site was for sale or sold (uncertain of status). The owners were very nice and the park was simple yet well cared for. They have horse stables so for non horse folks and horse folks alike it is a bit of a treat.
Douglas. We see so many folks on the road in a whirlwind to make it to their grand destination. We have been blessed to stop and smell the roses. Douglas is a fun place to explore. Head into town for the public pool with huge slides! Head to the train museum (free). Head to the Wyoming museum at the fairgrounds.. go fish in the hills or in the river. Go west and see the park with the landbridge - Ayres Natural Bridge Park... There are many fun things to do here. Don't forget to get a jackalope souvenir as this is the home of that elusive creature too!
