I am gonna put this on the pandemic a bit. We don’t usually book group sites but we went camping with two other couples. It was a big enough site to keep our distance. This was good. What was not good is there were people around us in all directions playing very loud music until 1 am every night. I swear at one point I heard what sounded like an effing karaoke machine being blasted in the wooded area between our site and the next for several hours and then switched to more loud music. People walked into our campsite late, not sure if they were drunk or what. We had to politely tell them this was a site and to please leave our camp. There were at least three dogs off leash that weekend. I almost ran one over heading to the beach, and one came into our campsite one evening and proceeded to run all over the camp. Also, dogs just barking so much it just sound like they were losing their GD minds or someone was provoking the dogs. I am not a Karen about stuff like this. I didn’t say anything but I did see the warden give some folks some tickets one of the nights. I suspect it was the combination of

two sites with incredibly large party sizes. There are a lot of raccoons on this campsite and I did notice some random food scraps and left behinds from previous campers. So enjoy that. I have camped a lot and this was a lot of

raccoons I suspect it’s just what comes with the territory. We will not be back here. It seems just like the cheapest way to throw a party with no regard for anyone else. If you do go here come on the weekday and enjoy the peace and quiet. You won’t get it on the weekends. No one enforces quiet hour.
