Looked at lots of places to camp in the general area, as I am traveling for work. Prices are great, very nice grounds, bathrooms and shower are always immaculate. I like that the campsites are spread out, not on top of each other. Closest camper to me is about 75yds away. It is a fairground, so it is flat, with a few trees, but it sure beats the concrete jungle options. I was staying here when the county fair arrived, had to move spots during the fair(which I knew ahead of time, and was compensated for), was really cool to be on the Fairgrounds during the fair. Access to the rides, games, food and events was easy, especially when you are steps from your home.
Moved back to my previous spot after the fair left, staying in a 30amp site with water and power, no sewer hookup. Dump station on grounds, easily accessible. My site is all grass as I believe most are, some sites that are 50amp I believe, are on gravel with full hookup. Easy pull thru for most sites except the 50amps, they are back in I believe, with more than enough room for a motorhome or massive 5th wheel. Water spigots can be far to run a hose to for the 30 and 20 sites, but not a big deal. Water is good, no complaints there. Grounds are well kept, no trash, lawn mowed frequently, all around very clean.
The campground host Karen is a LEGEND!!! Answered all of my questions before I booked a site(which i had a lot cause of the fair move), always willing to help and make sure your stay is amazing!! She is the BEST!!! Would definitely recommend staying here for short or long term.
